More about Gabriel Follis:
I am a graphic designer who pursues creative and challenging projects. I currently work on various freelance projects while holding a position as a graphic designer for Binny's Beverage Depot. I am continually seeking new demanding projects that use and challenge my design abilities.
My experience in freelance and as a graphic designer for Binny's Beverage Depot focuses heavily on creativity with respect to strict project deadlines and continually renewed originality: all while balancing several projects simultaneously. My previous projects have all relied profoundly on my ability to create cohesive layouts through the use of space, typography and color while maintaining a balance of advertising techniques and branding standards. Several projects have included advertisements in the Chicago Tribune, the RedEye, TimeOut Chicago Magazine, the Onion, and Pioneer Press in the Northshore and Naperville areas, as well as in-store signage, web graphics, E-blasts and web pages, catalogs, tasting booklets, postcards and various other advertising collateral. During this time also negotiating rates with ad sales representatives and printers as the main contact point. I have also served as creative director on photography for a series of seasonal catalogs and direct mail collateral.
I take pride in my work, which I hope is evident. Design is a passion for me, much more than anything else. Each project is equally important to me, and I feel that each one is a direct reflection of myself and of my abilities. I strive to excel at each and every challenge. Most meaningful to me is creating something that appeals to my clients and exceeds their expectations. And additionally, that my clients enjoy working with me.
